Seward County Firefighters Attack Vegetation Fire

Seward County Fire Department responded at 4:55pm to a vegetation fire along Highway 54 at Road R. The fire was contained to 1.5 acres. No injuries and no structures were threatened. The department responded with 2 chief officers, 1 engine, 2 attack trucks, 2 water tenders, and 8 firefighters. The cause is undetermined.
