Seward County Fire Fighters Quickly Extinguish Mobile Home/Vehicle Fire

On Wednesday, January 14th at approximately 11:53pm, the Seward County Fire Department responded to the report of a three vehicle fire in the 15000 Block of Denoon Road. On arrival the SCFD found a mobile home and carport with three vehicles fully involved in fire. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire quickly, getting it under control within a few minutes. SCFD remained on scene extinguishing and overhauling the remains of the building and vehicles involved in the fire. The mobile home was completely destroyed and unoccupied at the time of the fire. Seward County received mutual aid from the Turpin and Tyrone Fire Departments, as well as support from Seward County Sheriff’s Office and Seward County EMS.
The Seward County Fire Department responded with – 2 pumper/rescues, 5 brush/tenders, 1 command vehicle and 10 firefighters.
