Seward County Fire Extinguishes Tank Battery Fire

As of 8:18pm on Tuesday September 8th, Seward County Fire Department was on scene of a tank battery fire East of Kismet. The fire is extinguished . Lighting was reported in the area at the time of the incident. Seward County Sheriff’s Office assisted and Emergency Management was notified. No injuries were reported and the department responded with 6 firefighters, 3 engines, 1 water tender, and 2 chief officers.
