Seward County Democrats to Meet, Reorganize

Joe Denoyer - December 5, 2018 11:17 am

The Seward County Democrat Party will meet on Thursday, Dec. 13, at the Liberal Memorial Library.  Dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will start at 7 p.m. Dinner will be a chili potluck with the chili and drinks provided and participants are encouraged to bring side dishes and desserts.

“This is a business meeting to reorganize,” said Kay Burtzloff, Seward County Democrats chair. The agenda for the meeting includes a reorganization of the county party, including election of officers, appointing precinct chairs, and setting future meeting dates.

The meeting is open to all those interested in the Seward County Democrats. “You do not have to be a registered Democrat to attend the meeting. We recognize that there are people who might be interested in finding out more about the Democrat Party before they register or change affiliation. We also recognize that there are individuals who feel disenfranchised by the Republican Party due to current state and national leadership and we also welcome them.”

For more information about the meeting, contact Burtzloff at 620-629-0203, email [email protected] or visit the Seward County Democrats Facebook page
