9 a.m. to Noon or 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., $49 per person

SCCC/ATS, Student Union, SU 214 E/W

Presenter: Jenni Reling

As an adult educator, seminar presenter and Team Growth Specialist, Jenni Reling has devoted her career to encouraging and inspiring audiences. As the owner and operator of Jenni Reling Seminars since 1996, she seeks, not just to teach and guide, but to create an "experience" for her participants. She believes that adult education should be relevant, timely and enjoyable! Previously, Jenni has held positions as Staff Development Coordinator for a correctional facility, an Addictions Counselor, and an Education Coordinator in a healthcare environment. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Kansas State University. Jenni lives in Beloit, KS with her husband, Dan. They have three grown sons.

Leadership brings with it many rewards and challenges. Many who find themselves in leadership roles also find that they’ve received little training to manage the people and issues they encounter in the role of "leader" or they find the task load overwhelming. This session will take a practical yet probing look at leadership skills and provide strategies to lead others in an effective manner.
