SCCC/ATS Surg Tech Program Admits New Students

The Surgical Technology program at Seward County Community College/Area Technical School, Liberal, Kansas, has admitted new students to the fall 2013 class in Liberal, Kansas.

Incoming students for the 11-month program on the Liberal campus are Guadalupe Asebedo, Angela Adler and Alisha Clark, Garden City; Leanna Garcia and Karla Ramirez, Holcomb; Morgan Garcia, Guymon, Okla; Ana Mercado, Hooker, Okla; Jose Moreno-Torres and Megan Kuehler, Satanta; and Cristina Escamilla, Estivaliz Esqueda and Alipssa Tijerina, Liberal. In addition, SCCC/ATS has an outreach program at Manhattan Area Technical College and students taking the Surgical Technology program there include Jaimee Tittel, Riley; Caitlan Scruggs, Deborah Murrell and Alison Coulman, Manhattan; Ariel Castile and Nathan Upton, Junction City; and Jessica Westgate, Wamego.

The lecture portion of this program is online while the clinicals are in area health care facilities that are convenient for the student.
