Liberal freshman bowler Sam King is this week’s Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  King bowled a 656 series last week in helping the Redskins gain 10 WAC points against Garden City.  King’s 656 series is an LHS freshman record.  He placed first place at the event which also included Holcomb.  King was second in a meet with Hays and Holcomb at LHS.  His season high is a 232 at Northrock in Liberal earlier this season.  King and the Redskins host Dodge City and Holcomb Tuesday at 1pm at Billy’s Ayr Lanes.
