Saints Split Hard Fought Matches at West Plains Saturday

Seward County gave the sixth ranked team in the country all they could handle Saturday. Ninth ranked Seward lost to Iowa Western (18-25, 15-25, 25-18, 16-25). Seward then held off Lake Land College (25-12, 21-25, 25-11, 25-27, 15-12). Seward is 23-9 after going 1-3 at the tournament. Seward lost to three top eight ranked teams in southwest Missouri. The Saints return to conference action at Pratt Wednesday. Seward leads the conferecne at 8-1.
