Saints Softball to be Made Up Wednesday

The Seward softball team will try to bring their play from Arizona home with them to Kansas this week. Seward went 5-3 on their Spring Break trip to Nevada and Arizona and won five of their last six. Wednesday the 18-11 Saints will host Frank Phillips. The game was been post-poned yesterday because Frank Phillips couldn’t find a bus driver. Last week after losses to thirteenth ranked Southern Nevada (6-0 and 4-1) Seward beat Gateway (13-0, 11-0), split with Glendale (5-1 W and 6-3 L), and swept South Mountain (5-0 and 8-6). Seward also hosts Jayhawk West rival Butler Thursday at 2 pm. It could be a defining stretch of the season for SCCC.
