Saints Shock Hutch

Seward beat 13th rated Hutchinson at Hutchinson on Saturday 3-2. It marks Seward’s first win over Hutch since 2003. Seward won (20-25, 25-19, 25-19, 17-25, 18-16). Diana Castrillon’s jump serves sparked the Saints in the second set. She served six straight points and three aces. In the third set, Lindsey Miller had five kills while Castrillon added three more aces. Seward built an 11-8 lead in the decisive fifth set before trailing 14-15 and winning 18-16. Seward is 12-1 overall and 2-0 in the Jayhawk West. The Saints host 11th ranked Pratt Wednesday night at 6:30 in the Green House.
