“Saints Care” Event, Scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 16., has been Postponed.

Seward County Community College’s “Saints Care” event, scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 16., has been postponed. Freezing temperatures and more snow predicted over the weekend prompted the decision to postpone the outdoor ceremony of remembrance and the drive-through care package giveaway.
Because the date falls on what would traditionally be celebrated as Pancake Day in Liberal, the campus is already slated to be closed Feb. 16. No classes or regular business operations will occur on campus.
Pandemic restrictions had already cancelled most of the local festivities for Pancake Day.
SCCC will announce a rescheduled date for Saints Care in the future.
