Respiratory Therapist Meets Accreditation Standards

The Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care granted full accreditation status to the Respiratory Therapy program at Seward County Community College/Area Technical School, Liberal.
The next scheduled site visit will be in 2020.
CoARC reviews the program to determine ongoing compliance with accreditation Standards and CoARC Accreditation Policies and Procedures. Based on the outcomes the college reported, the program has met or exceeded all currently set “thresholds” for success on each of the required outcome measures.
“This is an accomplishment of which you, your staff, and institution should be proud,” said Dr. Thomas Smalling, CoARC executive director. “The Commission commends you and your colleagues for your commitment to continuous quality improvement in education, as demonstrated by your participation in programmatic accreditation.”
