Redskins Tear Up Tigers

Liberal used a stifling full court defense to blow out Guymon 76-46 Tuesday night in the Big House. Liberal forced over 20 GHS turnovers and seven players registered career highs in scoring for the 1-1 Redskins.

Liberal bolted to a 23-10 lead in the first quarter and led 42-23 at halftime.

JJ Lewis and William Ross scored 13 a piece while Trenton Hammond scored 12 and Elmer Quintana added 11. Guymon’s Carson Kane led the Tigers (1-2) with 15.

Liberal hosts Bartlesville Friday night at about 7:50 for the Conestoga/Community Bank Classic on Talkradio 1270.
