Redskins Soccer to Play for Third

The Liberal Redskins attempt at their first soccer state championship came to an end on Friday in Topeka as the Skins’ were defeated in the semi-finals by Shawnee Mission Bishop Miege 1-0.

The game was scoreless at halftime.

The defending state champions St. Thomas Aquinas beat Emporia 1-0 as well. So St. Thomas Aquinas will play Shawnee Mission Bishop Miege for the championship. Liberal will play Emporia in the third place game at noon.
