Ready, Set, Kindergarten At USD 480 on April 28th

The USD?No. 480 school district is conducting “Ready, Set Kindergarten” on Tuesday, April 28, at First Southern Baptist Church located at Seventh and Western Avenue.

All parents and their children who will be 5 years old on or before Aug. 31 and planning on entering kindergarten in August 2015, are invited to attend one of the “Ready, Set Kindergarten” sessions.

The sessions will be at 8 to 9:30 a.m.; 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; 1:30 to 3 p.m.; and 5 to 6:30 p.m.

This event is an opportunity for parents to meet with school staff, obtain enrollment information and ideas/activities for helping their child make a successful transition to kindergarten. Children will have time with teachers to interact, demonstrate skills and will receive a special welcome to kindergarten gift.

Parents who are interested in the dual language kindergarten program will have information available to them at this event.
