Pineda Tames Tigers Again

Edwin Pineda shut down Guymon for the second time this season Monday in Guymon. The LHS left hander struck out 10 and allowed two hits in a 5-0 Redskin win over the Tigers. LHS scored one in the first, three in the third, and one in the fifth. Sylman Pando and Cole Evans led the way going 2-4 and scoring two runs. Pando had a double and Evans drove home a run. Angel Archuleta was 1-2 with two RBI’s while Cristian Erives and Kaiden Long both added one hit a piece and an RBI.

Liberal is 11-0 and hosts 15-2 Booker Tuesday at 4 at the National Beef Family Sports Complex. There will be one varsity game and one JV game. The LHS JV is 10-0 and beat Guymon 10-2.
