Perryton Topples LHS Girls

The Perryton Rangerettes atoned for a 26 point loss last month to Liberal with a 56-40 win over LHS in Perryton Tuesday night. Liberal is 1-5.

LHS took an early 6-2 lead but the Rettes ripped off a 17-1 run. Perryton led 28-14 at the half and 34-24 after three quarters. Liberal had 26 turnovers and Perryton had 23. Liberal’s Megan Besecker scored 12 in the loss. Perryton’s Emma Mercado scored 18 and Addyson Moseley, who didn’t play against LHS December 19, scored 11.

LHS is 1-5 and PHS is 7-9. Liberal opens WAC play at home against Hays Friday at 6 with Redskin Pre-game at 5:45 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
