Organizers Look for the Next Miss Liberal

KSCB News - December 16, 2010 12:00 am

On March 6, a new Miss Liberal will be crowned. The future Miss Liberal may be planning on running for the honor, or she may not have made that decision yet but organizers are on the lookout for the next Miss Liberal. Former Miss Liberal Kristin Hall says so far interest is high. “We have a lot of young ladies interested this year,” Hall said. “We’re still looking for contestants for the pageant but there are a lot of young ladies taking advantage of this opportunity.”

To be a Miss Liberal contestant a young woman must be 17-24 years old, single, a U.S. citizen for at least six months, must be a resident or full time student, and must be a high school graduate by the summer’s Miss Kansas Pageant in Pratt. For information call Lew Haynes at 624-9153.
