Opening Night at Redskin Field

Liberal soccer and West Middle School football had their turn. Friday night the longest inhabitants of Redskin Field get their chance to play on the new turf. Fans will sit in the new chairback seats and bleachers for the first time and see the new field and track. LHS officials are pulling out all the stops to try to fill Redskin Field’s bleachers. The first 600 fans receive free pork burgers and hot dogs from Seaboard Foods. Pizza Hut will have food and product available as well. There will be jumpies for the kids. B107.5’s Blake Oz will broadcast live from 5-6 p.m. The gates to the stadium open at 5:30 p.m. The game begins at 7:00 p.m. and will air on Talkradio 1270 and kscb.net.
