One Vehicle Accident Claims an Albuquerque Man

A one vehicle accident Wednesday evening at approximately 10:35 pm has claimed the life of an Albuquerque man. The accident occurred on Highway 54 1 mile East of Meade when a 2016 Kia Forte being driven by Austin Wagoner, 37, of Albuquerque, was Westbound on US 54 when he crossed the center line and the Eastbound lanes, traveling through the median. The Kia then struck a culvert and vaulted over US 160 when it rolled an unknown amount of times. The vehicle then vaulted again over a barbed wire fence and came to rest.

Wagoner was taken to St. Catherine’s in Dodge City where he was pronounced deceased from his injuries.
