Michael John Fulton

Michael John Fulton, age 77, passed peacefully November 21, 2022, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas.
He was born to Michael D. Fulton and Mary Enright on February 12, 1945. He married his wife, Nancy Baker, of 56 years in Houston, TX on April 11, 1966. Together they had one son, Michael W., and two daughters, Ginger and Jennifer. He served in the United States Navy for 23 years, retiring as a Commander. After his distinguished career in the Navy, he continued working as an Optometrist for many years. Michael was a member of the Knights of Columbus, as well as serving as a member of the Automotive Advisory Board and the Transportation Advisory Board for Seward County Community College. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Son, Michael Fulton (Rhonda) of Chapin, South Carolina,
Daughters, Ginger Paschall (Dwayne) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and
Jennifer Martinez (Jerson) of Newnan, Georgia,
One brother, Thomas Fulton of Dallas, Texas
Six grandchildren, Buddy Paschall, Shelby Paschall, Brittany Barraclough (Dakota), James Fulton, Carter Fulton, and Sebastian Martinez, and one great grandchild on the way.
Preceded in death by both of his parents, Michael and Mary Fulton, siblings Ron Fulton, Mary Kay Cronenworth, and Jim Fulton.
Visitation will be from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home. The family will be present from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM to receive friends.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 25, 2022, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 613 Superior Street, with Rev. James Dieker celebrating.
Graveside services to follow at the Plains Cemetery, W. Iowa Street, Plains, Kansas. Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Lawrence M. Wimmer Post 80.
Memorial Donations are suggested to Seward County Community College Scholarship Fund in care of Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.
