Juan Dominguez Garcia, age 72, died Monday, September 6, 2021 at his home in Liberal, Kansas.
He was born on January 11, 1949, the son of Ascencion Dominguez and Margarita Garcia in Delicias, Chihuahua.
Juan was born and raised in Mexico, and moved to Liberal, Kansas where he lived for 30 years. On September 28, 1983, he married Lucila in El Paso, Texas. He was the father of seven children. Jose Juan Dominguez, Jesus Omar Dominguez, Daniel Dominguez, Gabriela Aguilar, Marisol Dominguez, Rocio Dominguez, and Olga Daniel. Juan worked very hard to support his family. He worked in construction, agriculture and as a mechanic. Juan was a very friendly man. Always making jokes even when he was in pain. To his neighbors and friends, he was known as “Juanito”.

Juan was preceded in death by both of his parents, Ascencion Dominguez and Margarita Garcia, and his brother.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Street Liberal, Kansas
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 10, 2021, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Street Liberal, Kansas with Rev. Hiram Gutierrez presiding
Interment will follow at the Restlawn Cemetery 8955 Hwy. 83 Liberal, Kansas.
