North Tops Redskin Soccer

Liberal’s soccer team finished 1-2 at the Wichita South Titan Classic. The Redskins, who lost three games last year, are 2-2 after Wichita North topped LHS 3-2 Saturday afternoon in Wichita. Brian Alvarez scored one goal with an assist from Eliel Gonzalez. Eliel scored Liberal’s second goal with an assist from Johnny Del Val. Liberal has a challenging week putting their 1-0 WAC record to the test playing at Dodge City on Tuesday and at Garden City on Thursday.
