New Museum director hired

Thursday, February 26, 2009: The City of Liberal has named Samuel F. Christian as Director of the Mid-America Air Museum. Christian was a museum specialist and then curator of the U.S. Navy CEC and Seabee Museum in Gulfport, Mississipi. Prior to that Christian served as a museum specialist wit the U.S. Air Force Museum at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.
