National Beef has donated $10,000 to Bright Futures Liberal in an effort to support academic success for students during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bright Futures Liberal is a local non-profit which engages the community in establishing relationships and channeling resources to support academic success for students. Funds provided by National Beef will be used to support the essential needs of students living in the Liberal community.

In a letter provided to Bright Futures Liberal, Dennis Boyles, General Manager at Liberal’s National Beef facility wrote: “Our National Beef family is committed to walking hand in hand with you and other Liberal community leadership and organizations in doing all we can to protect the health and safety of our community.”

The Bright Futures Liberal board and its volunteers are thankful for this donation and the possibilities it will create for students in Liberal.

“We’re deeply appreciative for this gift, as the COVID-19 pandemic has strained the financial resources of many families in our community,” Bright Future Chair, Lisa Hatcher, said. “These funds will help us equip children with the basic resources they need to be able to focus on their academic endeavors in the classroom.”
