Muddy Grant County Road Causes Injury Accident

Rain Saturday in the area caused muddy area county roads to be hazardous. The mud helped cause a one vehicle accident in Grant County Saturday night. Thirteen year old Jesus Acosta was driving a 2004 Ford truck east on Grant County Road 14. He lost control in the mud and left the road an rolled one time into the field. Acosta was taken to Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses with a possible injury. His 15 year old passenger was not injured. The accident occurred at 8:40 PM Saturday.
