A Moscow couple, Terry and Hope Pierson, were enroute to a Thanksgiving get together in Colorado when they were involved in a single vehicle rollover accident. The accident occurred Wednesday afternoon on Highway 50 in Otero County, just outside of Rocky Ford.

The Piersons were traveling West on Highway 50, towards Pueblo when suddenly and for an unknown reason, they lost control of their vehicle. The car dropped off the edge of the road, striking the guardrail on the north side of the highway, then spun south across 4 lanes of traffic when it hit the drainage curb causing the car to flip landing on it’s top.

The Piersons were able to exit their vehicle and walk away uninjured. Seatbelts were in use in the vehicle.
