Liberal senior golfer Morgan Nelson is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week. Nelson withstood the rain and cold at the 6A regional in Garden City’s Buffalo Dunes Monday to shoot a 125 and qualify for state. Nelson will play at 6A state at Salina on Monday. Nelson’s best score this season was a 117 at Dodge City. Nelson is very involved in activities as she participates in drama, student council, NHS, and Dance Images.
