Moreno Scores Five Goals in Blowout Win

Liberal’s Eduardo Moreno scored five goals in a 7-1 win over Wichita Southeast Thursday in the Wichita South Titan Classic. After a 3-1 over Wichita Northwest Monday, Liberal head coach Lori Navarro shuffled her lineup. It obviously worked. Isai Guttierez and Alvin Portillo added goals. Hector Mata had two assists. Moreno, Andres Rangel, and Eduardo Campos dished assists. Liberal led the shots on goal category 18-4. Liberal plays Maize in the championship Saturday at 3:00 p.m. The Redskins are 3-0.
