Milestone Night for Saints in First Round Win Over Colby

KSCB News - March 4, 2013 6:45 am

The Saints controlled their game most of the way against Colby in the Greenhouse Saturday night. Seward led 46-29 at the half and by as many as 24 in the second half before pulling away to win 88-70.

Two milestones happened in today’s games as the Lady Saints won their 20 th game of the season, the 21 st straight season that Seward has won 20 or more games. In the Saints game, Kaheem Ransom led Seward with 27 points, marking the 1,000 th point of his Seward County career, making him one of just 10 players in school history, and one of two Seward players in school history to reach the 1,000 point mark.

The Saints face the Independence Pirates Tuesday at 7 on B107.5. The game can be heard online at scccsaints.com. Windtree Management is the buyout sponsor.
