The warriors 7th grade football team traveled to Dodge City Thursday to take on the coyotes. The warriors dropped a tough hard played game 34-12. There were a couple of bright spots for the 12 man team however. The warriors scored their touchdowns on two passing plays. The first one quarterback Blayden Betts found Kicker and now Wide receiver extraordinaire Oscar Sanchez who carried 3 coyotes across the goal line for his first ever Touchdown. Then Easton Cooley on a Running back toss found James Fieser who scored a 68 yard touchdown after stiff arming two defenders.

The warriors return home next week against the Horace Good Hawks.

Eisenhower 8th traveled to Dodge City to take on Comanche. The Warriors
started the game with the all deep in their own territory. After an
interception on the Warriors first possession Comanche capitalized to go up
8-0. Eisenhower struggled to move the ball on offense in the first quarter
but scored on a 75 yard pass to Skylar Hubbard to tie the game at 8.
Comanche would punch in another score right before half on a run to go up
14-8 at half. The second half started with Comanche marching down the field
before stalling deep in Warriors territory. The two teams would trade
possessions the rest of the way with both defenses standing tall and not
allowing another score. Comanche would win the game 14-8. 8th grade moves
to 1-3 and will take on Garden City Horace Good at home next Thursday. —
