Eisenhower’s 7th grade football team ended their season on a high note defeating their cross town rivals 40-0. The warriors methodically drove down the field on their first drive taking up almost 7 minutes ending in a 2 yard Alex Schwindt sneak for a TD extra point was no good. The defense created a quick 3 and out and then the offense exploded with a 20 point 2nd quarter. Schwindt started the quarter with a TD run off right end. The extra point was good and the score moved to 13-0. Then on their next possession Schwindt connected with Udie Ortiz for a 42 yard touchdown pass. Extra point was good and the warriors lead 20-0. The warriors were able to complete a successful 2 minute drive after the defense made another big stop and Skylar Hubbard threw the ball to Alex Schwindt for a big play which was capped off by a Schwindt touchdown run. The warriors lead 26-0 at half time. The second half was owned by Ayden Juarez who scored the Warriors final two touchdowns one from 6 yards out and another from 10 yards as the warriors cruise to their 6th victory of the season. The Defense shut out the Apaches making 6 defensive shutouts on the season. The warriors only gave up 24 points the whole season. The warriors finish 6-1 and 2nd in the MSWAC.
