Meade County Collision Claims Life of Minneola Man

A head on collision with a semi on a Meade County road claimed the life of a Minneola man Wednesday evening.  The crash occurred at about 6 p.m. 3.1 miles north of Fowler and 26 road.  The Kansas Highway Patrol reports 38 year old Kevin Glaze of Minneola was headed south on Meade County Road 26 in a Pontiac Grand Prix when the vehicle crossed the center line and struck the semi which was northbound.  Glaze was pronounced dead after the crash.  He was not wearing a seatbelt.  The driver of the semi 33 year old Christopher Miller of Ashland was taken to Meade District Hospital with a minor injury.
