Man Sentenced For Electronic Solicitation

KSCB News - October 3, 2012 10:16 am

A Scott City man was sentenced to more than 5 years in prison Tuesday after pleading guilty to two charges of electronic solicitation, Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt said.

Nicholas Anderson, 26, was sentenced to 61 months in prison on each of the two charges, to run concurrently. Anderson pleaded guilty to the charges in July. Judge William F. Lyle presided over the sentencing in Scott County District Court.

Assistant Attorney General Nicole Romine from Schmidt’s office prosecuted the case. The charges stem from an investigation by the Kansas Bureau of Investigation and the Western Kansas Child Advocacy Center.
