The Seward County Board of Commissioners met on Tuesday evening and approved an agreement with Russell Child Development Services for services in 2026 and approved the fee of $25,000.

Commissioners approved the employee compensation Resolution and appointed Jeff Louderback and Kelly Eakes to fill unexpired terms on the Planning and Zoning Board. Commissioners also scheduled a work session with Planning and Zoning for Tuesday January 27.

The Commission tabled the request for the Booking Fee carryover for the Activity Center until the next meeting and also heard from the County Treasurer that there are currently 30 parcels for the next Tax Sale.

Working with the City, the Commission approved a letter of support for a Bus Shelter for CityBus at the Health Department.
