Local “Specialized” Donation Drive in response to Coronavirus Being Organized

Joe Denoyer - March 25, 2020 1:05 pm

Genesis Family Health has been working with several local businesses and the United Way of Liberal to organize a donation drive to help families in Liberal who do not have supplies in relation to the fight against the coronavirus.

There will be collection boxes in several places for people to bring extra supplies they can share with those who cannot find anything. Items they are looking to collect include bottled water, kleenex, dish soap, detergent, diapers of any size, toilet paper (no surprise there!), and hand sanitizer, among other things. Drop off locations include: Genesis Family Health, Keating Tractor and Equipment, Sunflower Bank, 1st United Methodist Church, Southwest Fitnes, Brown’s Shoe Fit, and St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.

Please consider helping, if you can. I hope it will be just a matter of time before stores begin to re-stock these products, but even with so many people facing layoffs due directly to the pandemic, any help we can give will most certainly be appreciated.
