Local Physician Announces Relocation

KSCB News - June 10, 2013 10:18 am

Eve Shank, M.D., recently announced her resignation from Southwest Medical Center after making the decision to relocate to Central Kansas.

The hospital wishes Shank and her family the best as she prepares to move at the end of June.

“We were pleased to have the professional services offered by Dr. Shank, and we wish her well on this new opportunity,” said Bill Ermann, President and CEO of Southwest Medical Center.

Letters will be sent to Shank’s patients informing them of her last day at Southwest Medical Center’s Medical Office Building. Medical records for Shank’s patients will continue to remain confidential and secure.

“Dr. Shank’s patients’ records will remain under our care here at Southwest Medical Center,” explained Cathleen Bulot, Director of Health Information Services. “If patients would like a copy of their records or need them transferred to another physician, they may contact our office at 620-629-6230.”

Shank’s last day as a physician at SWMC will be June 28, 2013.
