Liberal’s Poulton Qualifies for State

Liberal’s Lucas Poulton shot an 82 to qualify for state Monday at 5A regionals at the Salina Municipal Golf Course. He will be the only Redskin representing LHS at state this year at Lawrence’s Alvamar Country Club. Michael Begley shot a personal best 86, but missed qualifying by 4. George Fitzgerald shot a 90, Blake Stout shot a. 94, Calvin Peterson carded a 97, and Zach Stout rounded out the Redskins with a 100. Newton won the team competition, Salina Central came in second and Hays. finished third
