Liberal Spikers Rally to Defeat Dodge City

The Liberal volleyball team lost the first two sets but rallied to defeat Dodge City 3-2 Thursday night in the Big House.  Liberal won 23-25, 21-25, 25-20, 25-22, 15-9.  Aubrey Warden had 11 kills and Machia Mullens added nine.  Lizzy Cisneros had 35 digs defensively for the Lady Red.  Sarah Mein had 28 assists and six aces.  Liberal is 4-9 and hosts their tournament beginning Saturday morning a 8:30 am.  The teams in the tournament are Borger, Colby, Dodge City, Hugoton, Maize South, Meade, Southwestern Heights, and Liberal.
