Liberal Soccer Defeats Garden City

Mike Fonseca scored three goals as the Liberal Redskin soccer team beat the Garden City Buffaloes 3-2 Thursday evening at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex. Manny Arroyo, David Arroyo, and Robert Campos assisted the goals. The Redskins built a 3-0 lead and then held on to win. Liberal is 5-2 overall and 2-1 in the WAC. Liberal plays in Wichita against the Wichita Classical School on Saturday.
