Liberal Qualifies Nine Boys and Eight Girls to 6A State Track

Brock Kappelmann - May 18, 2019 7:17 am

Coach Trace Haskell’s comments:

“There were many good things and a few
disappointments. Moving from 5A to 6A has been an adjustment this year and
we found ourselves looking at 5A results thinking if we were only…… But
we are not! Proud of these kids and their relentless ability to fight to
the end. Our boys scored the most points tonight, more than any point in
the season and this was our most difficult meet. On the girls side I feel
we were able to escape the injury bug and finally run good races. I look
forward to seeing both team grow next year as we accept our new role and
settle in in this new 6A classification.
Boys going to state 9
Girls going to state 8
1 Regional Champion : Malcom Wiltshire in the High Jump
Many seasonal records”
