Liberal Police Make Narcotics Arrest

On Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at about 4:30 p.m., investigators conducted a search warrant at a residence in the 600 block of S. Pennsylvania Avenue in the furtherance of an ongoing narcotics investigation. The warrant was served by the Liberal Police Department Special Response Team.

A significant quantity of suspected marijuana, cash and a firearm were seized.

Two eighteen year old males were taken into custody without incident. Affidavits will be sent to the Seward County Attorney for the determination of formal charges.
