On May 26th, at about 6:12 a.m., a witness called to report two males entering vehicles at the 1100 block of North Roosevelt. Responding officers located two seventeen year old male suspects in the area. The investigating officers recovered property stolen from two vehicles in the area.

The two males were arrested for burglary to auto, theft, conspiracy and minor in consumption of alcohol. Affidavits have been forwarded to the Seward County Attorney seeking formal charges.
Anyone with information about these crimes is encouraged to call the Liberal Police Department at 626-0150 or the Crime Hotline at 624-4000.
