Liberal Police Investigate Shooting

On Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at approximately 12:19 a.m., officers responded to a reported shooting at the 100 block of East Hickory Street.

Responding officers found that a residence had been hit by multiple shots. A 34 year old male and a 24 year old female were inside the residence at the time of the shooting. They were not injured.

Investigators interviewed several witnesses who reported hearing multiple shots fired. No suspect information was readily available.

Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to call the Liberal Police Department at 626-0150 or the Crime Hotline at 624-4000. Persons providing information leading to the arrest of those responsible are eligible for a reward.
