Liberal Police Investigate Homicide

On Sunday morning, July 16th at 2:10 am the Liberal Police Department responded to 737 S. Kansas Avenue, Capital Sports Bar, for the reports of gunshots.
Arriving officers located two gunshot victims and one suspect on scene. The suspect was taken into custody and the firearm was recovered. Both victims were transported to by Seward County EMS to Southwest Medical Center. One of the victims was later pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
