Liberal Man Injured In A Gray County Accident

A Liberal man was injured Saturday morning in a rollover accident in Gray County.

Nicolas Rodriguez, 22, was taken to the Western Plains Medical Center in Dodge City after the accident, which occurred at about 11:45 a.m. Saturday about two miles west of Charleston on U.S. Highway 50, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

The KHP said Rodriguez was westbound on the highway when he lost control of his vehicle and entered the south ditch, overturning his Ford truck at least once.

Rodriguez’ condition was not available from hospital officials. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident, according to the KHP.
