Liberal Girls Win Big at Great Bend

The LHS girls soccer team made it a season sweep against Great Bend.  Liberal knocked off the Panthers 7-0 Tuesday night at Great Bend.  The Lady Red scored three in the first half.  Isabella Gutierrez assisted Nicole Catalan.  Jenavee Zuniga assisted Karime Neave.  Janelle Potter assisted Nicole Catalan for a 3-0 lead at halftime.  In the second half, Arely Reveles found Nicole Catalan for a 4-0 lead.  Abbie Lopez assisted Arely Rivas for the 5-0 lead.  Isabella Gutierrez fez Jazlin Marquez for a goal.  Nicole Catalan scored on a penalty kick.  Great Bend is 1-8 overall and 0-6 in the WAC.  Liberal is 4-7 overall and 2-4 in the WAC.  Liberal hosts Thomas Moore Prep on Thursday night at about 6:30 at Redskin Field.
