Among the items on the agenda, the Liberal City Commission accepted a grant from the FAA in the amount of $4,442,500.00 for the Reconstruction of parallel Taxiway A and Taxiway C project. The City will have to come up with 5% of the total project cost which amounts to $222,125.00 which will come from Economic Development. The project will include the design, construction and Engineering services of H.W. Lochner, Inc. Commissioners also approved Firefighter Protective Clothing in the amount of $5,712.00, appointed Pam McElvain and Chuck Lamberson to the Convention and Visitors Board, and amended Exhibit C of the Code of the City for Massage Establishments and reduced the fee from $500.00 to $50.00.
