Work has begun on a new mural at the Liberal Animal Shelter.

A local artist, Kristyn Reust, is donating her time, talent, and materials to paint a brand-new mural in the family room at the Liberal Animal Shelter, with the painting already underway With a little “supervision” from some curious four-legged friends, of course.

The City and staff at the Liberal Animal Shelter can’t wait to show off the finished masterpiece and use the space as a purr-fect adoption photo wall.
