LHS Tennis Competes at Great Bend

Dodge City took first place at The Great Bend Invitational on Saturday with
38 team points. Great Bend took second with 36 points and Garden City took
third with 35. Liberal finished with 16 points. Competing teams included
Dodge City, Garden City, Hoisington, Wakeeney, Ellinwood, and Great Bend.
The Lady Skins had to shuffle their line up due to illness and ACT testing
conflicts, but the girls competed hard and lost some close matches that
could have gone either way.

#1 Singles–Valerie Esqueda went 2-3 on the day.
#2 Singles–Rebecca Irby went 3-2 finishing 4th Place
#1 Doubles–Mariyvette Aguilar (battling illness) & Johaly Portillo went 1-4
#2 Doubles–Cynthia Amaro & Pricilla Vasquez went 2-3

The Lady Skins travel to Dodge City on Tuesday.
